These word describe about quantity of things. The
words abve are called quantifies. There are two kinds of noun,countable and
uncountable noun.
Ø Some
is contrasted to any. Some is used in positive sentence whil any is used in negative
sentence, in introgative we way use some or any, use some if we are sure the answer
will be positive and use any if we are not sure about the answer or we expected
that the answer negative.
Example :
1. I
need some stationaries
2. We
don’t have any stationaries
3. Do
you have any magazine ?
Ø A
lot of is used in positive sentence in front of countable noun or uncountable nouns.
A few is used in positive and introgative sentence in front of countable nouns
Example :
1. My
grandma brings a lot of chocolates
for me
2. He
has a lot of money
3. Alins
put a few carrots to the soup
Ø Many
is used for countable nouns and much is used for uncountable nouns.
Example :
1. We
don’t need much sugar
2. She
have many book
